Mandate
Assumption of overall IT leadership in ongoing operations while simultaneously restructuring the struggling Central Project Management unit.
Implementation
- Responsible for infrastructure, data center, software development and system operations (IT security, ERP SAP S/4HANA, CRM, EDI, Seeburger, TMS, DWH, CMS, etc.)
- Advisory role in managing external service providers
- Responsible for staff development in the IT department
- Budget controlling and budget planning
- Leading support of internal IT teams
- Coordination and support of various project teams
- Leading the planning and preparation of IT projects
- Evaluation and preparation for the implementation of a new Transport Management System (TMS)
- Development of AI strategy and tailor-made AI solutions
- Redesigned organizational structures and established a new framework of governance and guidelines for Central Project Management
- Improved project lead times through advanced resource planning and allocation
- Implemented robust control mechanisms for budget monitoring and target achievement (KPIs)

- Stable line IT (infrastructure, security, SAP S/4HANA)
- Turnaround of the Central Project Management unit through new governance and resourcing rules – project lead times reduced
- TMS evaluation completed
